Damn, that's very nice for watercolor...not that I am putting it down, it's just you did a fine job of making me think you used a medium other than watercolor. And my main medium is watercolor O.o

Thank you! ^_^ I don't often work with watercolor because it's so capricious-- I've been spoiled by digital and I'm such a control freak with my art. Hard to just let the watercolor do what it does, but the gamble paid off here.

Ooh, golly, I always love your titles too. So evocative of some wordless emotion. I like the light and contrast in the watercolor painting. Nitpicking though, I'd've loved to see some more warm colors.

I contemplated more warm tones, but the coldness won out. Plus, being a tad rusty with watercolors as I am, I wasn't quite confident I could pull it off without the painting turning into a muddy mess. But as it didn't, happily, I'm going to try something a bit more dramatic for the next one. Haven't yet decided what it'll be, though.
